2024 RXC Membership

Racer X Cycling (RXC) is a bicycle racing team based in Golden, Colorado that maintains a strong, winning presence across all race disciplines including road, mountain, cross, track and gravel. We foster a positive environment for committed racers who want to further improve their skill and reach their personal racing goals. The team fields racers in every category from Junior to 70+, from Cat 5 beginners to the Pro level. Our team operates with a strong sense of camaraderie and support, and we believe in training, racing and giving back to the team and our community through mentoring, volunteering, and time donations. Most importantly, we love our sport and love to ride and race our bikes!

RXC Membership Details and Requirements

  • Every member of RXC is expected to actively support and promote the Team’s mission and goals by participating in training rides, racing, team events and volunteer opportunities.

  • Every RXC member is required to race in a minimum of five (5) sanctioned races (timed events) in 2024 to qualify for end-of-season rewards. 

  • Every RXC member is required to volunteer for at least two (2) team or general community cycling events in 2024 to maintain team membership. One of the volunteer efforts must be for the Blue Sky Hillclimb, an RXC sponsored event. It is preferred that volunteer efforts outside of the Blue Sky Hillclimb is a community event in furtherance of cycling. Race participation and volunteer participation is tracked.

  • Members must list “Racer X Cycling/ColoBikeLaw” on their Local Association, USAC membership and race entry forms. This step ensures that race points and participation are rewarded properly which is used to determine end of season rewards.

  • While a member of RXC, you will not race for another team during the race calendar year unless you have prior written permission from the RXC Board.  

  • A 2024 RXC race kit is included with membership (identified with “F2B2 ‘24”) and all members must wear the current kit in races during the 2024 race season.

  • Sponsorship deals are STRICTLY for RXC members only and must not be communicated or extended to individuals outside the team, posted online OR shopped at other bike shops or stores. Violations may result in dismissal from the RXC Team.

  • The 2024 RXC membership term starts on January 1st (or your signup date if after Jan. 1) and ends on December 31st. A complete 2024 membership application, full payment and RXC Board approval is required to be accepted as an RXC team member.

  • RXC team members are expected to strictly adhere to established laws, regulation and rules of conduct while riding a bike on roads or trails. Violations of these guidelines may result in cancellation of current team membership or be subject to the member’s non-renewal for the following year, as determined by the Board.

  • Team training rides are formal RXC rides for RXC team members only. Non–team members can be invited only if they sign an RXC Team Release/Accident Waiver prior to the ride starting and if they agree to adhere to Team ride safety and code of conduct rules. Validated complaints by team members related to a non-team rider will result in an initial warning to the offending rider. Should the negative behavior continue, the offending rider will no longer be allowed to participate in any subsequent Team rides or events.

  • The 2024 membership fee is $290, which includes a $204 credit for the 2024 RXC custom Cuore race team base kit (1 each of: Bronze Sport short-sleeve jersey, Silver shorts or bib shorts and a pair of socks). When the Cuore clothing store opens (watch for an announcement!), all new members must purchase, at a minimum, a cycling top, a cycling bottom (or combo) and a pair of socks.

  • If your application is submitted after January 25, 2024, your kit and additional clothing will not arrive before the start of the 2024 racing season.

  • Additional clothing order opportunities may be offered during the year.
